We leave for DW Sunday and have the DP. 3 girls 13,10, 4. Is it worth giving up 2 dining credits for a signature meal, specifically the Spirit of Aloha show vs. Ohana for dinner? Tough to give up a table service meal.

Hi Melissa!  Your Walt Disney World vacation is fast approaching-you all must be so excited!  Thanks for your question.  'Ohana for dinner is one of my favourite restaurants!  I find the food to be delicious and the atmosphere is fun for all ages.  I think your girls will love taking part in the games and hula dancing.  This is definitely a more interactive type meal, and I think it's a great use of 1 Table Service credit.  While we enjoyed the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, we didn't love it.  The food was good but not great.  We used the 2 Table Service credits from our Disney Dining Plan, and those seats are usually in the upper tier of the open-air theater.  Perhaps the show would have been more engaging to us if we had been seated closer, but for the most part we found the story-line to be a bit "cheesy", and really the best part was the fire dancer.  Having been to a real luau in Hawaii I can tell you there is no comparison.  While I would definitely return again and again to 'Ohana, I think that once was enough for the Spirit of Aloha.  So I guess my advice to you would be to go to 'Ohana using only 1 Table Service credit and to enjoy another dining experience with the credit that you saved.

Since your vacation is so near, I highly suggest you make advance online Disney Dining Reservations. You will also find descriptions and menus for other Table Service restaurants where you may wish to use your Disney Dining Plan.

I hope this helped you to make up your mind.  I wish you safe travels and a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
