Hi Jessica!
The Disney Cruise boarding process is the most organized I have ever seen out of the 5 different cruise lines I have experienced. Except when you leave your passports and documents on a table and walk away. (Thank goodness someone immediately turned it in!)
We always get to the port as early as we are allowed. Print out all of the required documents and bring them with you. You will first go through security and then head up to the check-in area. You will be given a boarding number and then be directed into a check-in line. If you have all of your documents printed and signed, this takes about 5 minutes. They will give you your stateroom keys which will also serve as your ID to get on and off the ship. Find a nice comfy spot to sit or have your picture taken with Mickey while you wait for your number to be called. Once your number is called, you will start heading to the ship, but not before you get your individual photo taken that will be linked to your stateroom key. After this photo, you will take a family photo and then you’re ready to set foot on the ship! Once you are on the ship, you can explore until your stateroom is ready or head up to Cabanas and have a delicious lunch.
Have a FABULOUS time! Leslie
