Can we leave Disneyland park, eat at Downtown Disney for dinner and re-enter Disneyland (same goes for California adventure)?

    Hey there, Sharon.

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for dropping by with your question for us. I’m delighted to see you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I bet you’re excited to enjoy a pixie-dusted day at the parks.

I'm happy to report that you’re able to leave and re-enter the theme park later in the day. This is great when you’re wishing to enjoy dinner at Downtown Disney District. A couple of my favorite dining options in Downtown Disney District include Catal Restaurant and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen. Sometimes, it’s also nice to escape from the hustle-and-bustle of the theme parks mid-day to rest in your hotel room or take a splash in the hotel pool.

When you’re ready to return to the magic, simply show your ticket (paper ticket or on your Disneyland mobile app) to a Cast Member at the entry turnstile and you’ll be back to enjoying all the pixie-dusted fun!

I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

Wishing you an enchanting visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
