I leave for Disneyland in 2 days and pulled out my magic band+ only to find that it's dead. I just learned today that although the bands still work at the resort, I can't buy one there. I was so excited to bounty hunt!!! What to do????

Hello there Amber!  It sounds like your magical vacation is right around the corner!

I'm sorry that you're having difficulty with your MagicBand+, I'm hoping we can find a solution that works for you!  I also have thought that my MagicBand+ was no longer functioning, but I charged it overnight and that seemed to do the trick!  I recommend charging it for a longer period of time and even overnight to see if that revives it.

You are correct that MagicBand+ is still supported at the Disneyland Resort, however, there may be a smaller selection to purchase.  I did confirm with a Cast Member that MagicBand+ is still available to purchase in most shops throughout the theme parks and the Downtown Disney District.  They could not guarantee the selection that would be available, but my recommendations would be to explore the World of Disney store, Emporium, and Elias & Co.

For a future trip, I also recommend the Disney Store site, they have a great selection, and you could purchase them for you and your family depending on their favorite characters and colors!  There are several designs that I have my eye on for my next trip.

I hope that you're able to either get your MagicBand+ working again, or grab a new one during your trip, Amber!  I'm wishing you and your family a vacation full of core memories, don't hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
