Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Noelia!
I am happy to put your mind at ease as you prepare for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this weekend. A doctor’s note is not required for
Wheelchair Rentals. Simply head to the wheelchair rental location, located near the front of each theme park. If you will be arriving by car to the parking lot, you will find courtesy wheelchairs available to help bring your son to the park entrance. If you don't see one, ask the nearest Cast Member.
I have attached information for
Guests with Mobility Disabilities, which lists attractions by accessibility. I recommend speaking with a Cast Member at the entrance to each attraction to determine the best procedure for your son to have access. During your visit, you will also be able to view accessibility information for each attraction by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. From the home screen, click on the map. The default view is Magic Kingdom Park, but you can use the filter at the top to change the location. From the map, select any attraction, and scroll down to “Accessibility & Other Information''.
I am wishing you and your family a wonderful visit this weekend! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
