Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kern!
I see you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks, and I know just how excited you’re getting. I think
summer is a most excellent time for a Disney trip - longer days mean more time for theme park fun, and the summer heat is the perfect excuse to eat Mickey-shaped ice cream treats and, my personal favorite,
Dole Whips!
Kern, I have great news for you. Once you pay for theme park parking, you may leave and re-enter any of the four theme park parking areas (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park). For current parking fees, and even more details, please see the
Parking web page.
Complimentary theme park parking is one of the many fantastic
benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so if you’ll be a Disney hotel Guest, the Parking Cast Member will scan your
MagicBand as you enter the parking area. If you’re a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, parking is included with your Annual Pass, so just show your Annual Pass card and ID, and you’ll be all set.
My family almost always take a break in the middle of our theme park days – it’s great to get out of the heat and take a nap, enjoy a good meal in the air conditioning, or go for a swim. Then, as we get closer to the evening, when the weather has cooled a bit, we head back for some more fun. I think it’s fantastic that you’re planning a mid-day break, and I love that you’re figuring out all the logistics so you can focus on the fun when you arrive. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down to the magic – they post the latest news, tasty treats, and great tips so you can make the most of every moment on your vacation. Have the best time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
