We leave for Disney in 26 days! Unfortunately my boyfriend has to leave to go out of town and will not be able to make the trip. Is it possible to put my brother in his place? If it is, will this mess my fast passes up?

Hi, Jana! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I’m sorry to hear that your boyfriend won’t be able to join you, but it sounds like you’re making the best of it with a brother/ sister visit to Walt Disney World Resort. You are able to transfer/ reassign an unused Theme Park ticket, so your boyfriend should be able to reassign his ticket to your brother. As for the FastPass+ selections, though, once your brother reassigns that ticket, he will lose any FastPass+ reservations he made connected to it.

To make sure you’re still able to keep your plans in place, I would suggest reaching out to a Cast Member at the "My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+" helpline. Make sure your brother is connected via your Family & Friends list (if he has his own My Disney Experience account) or that you’ve created a profile for him under your account before you call. If he already has his own account set up, you will need to know the email address he uses for his account, too.

Hopefully the Cast Member at the helpline will be able to straighten out your plans, Jana! In the meantime, please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help make your visit to Walt Disney World Resort a Magical one.

    Best wishes,
