We leave in 6 days! Our youngest is 6mths. old and I'm wondering about sit-down restaurants. If he's asleep, can we leave him in the stroller or do I have to get him out? Are there other options? Thanks!

    Hi Rachel,

I traveled to Disney with an infant and was concerned about the same thing.  In most cases, the Cast Members at the restaurants were very accommodating if I showed up with a sleeping baby in a stroller and allowed me to wheel the stroller beside our table.  In some cases, we even got a quiet, out of the way spot and were able to linger over a lovely dinner with my little guy dreaming away beside us.  My recommendation is to arrive at the podium to check in a few minutes later, and be prepared to wait a little longer for the staff to provide you a table that can accommodate a stroller.  At some table service restaurants, we chose to request a booth, and laid our son across the bench with his head propped on a sweatshirt, blanket, etc. as a "pillow".  This worked great as well.  Even though it will be warm (ok, hot) during the day and even during the evenings when you travel, I do recommend bringing a light blanket or jacket to cover the baby with, as it can get chilly in the restaurants.

    Have a wonderful trip!
