Hi! We leave in 16 Days for our family's 1st visit!!! When should I call our resort (CBR) to request a room close to Old Port Royale, my MIL has a cast on her foot & would like to limit her walking if possible.

    Hi Angela,

I'm sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. The Caribbean Beach Resort is very large. The rooms closest to the Old Port Royale are listed as "preferred rooms" and they cost extra. You would need to specifically reserve one of those (and pay the price difference) to get one. However, you can certainly call and request a standard room as close to the Old Port Royale as possible. Call (407) 934-3400 and ask to speak with a Room Assigner at exactly 9 days prior to your trip. They don't get the arrival lists until that point, so they will just tell you to call back if you call sooner. While requests are never guaranteed, Disney does do their best to honor them based on availability. Generally in cases of medical need, they work extra hard to help you out.

Best of luck and have a wonderful vacation,
