When you leave your credit card number with front desk so you can make purchases with your key, at check out can you choose to go to desk and pay tab with cash instead of it going to the card that you gave them? Or is the card automatically charged? thx

Hi Amy, I would mention to the front desk on check-in that you are planning on paying cash for your balance on check-out and they will not charge your card. They will do a pre-authorization on your card which is a "hold" amount on the credit card. I would also settle your bill the day before your check-out so the night shift doesn't charge your card for the next morning (this has happened to me before and the card was charged before I could pay the balance in cash). Hope this helps! Best wishes, Brigitta
