Can you leave your car at your resort the day you check out and visit one of the parks?

    Hi Katherine! Welcome to planDisney.

I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year than with a visit to The Walt Disney World Resort, and I am thrilled to see you've got an early January visit coming up. You'll be starting your year with magic and pixie dust, and I hope you can keep some in your pocket (or your heart) and carry it through the whole year.

You may absolutely leave your personal vehicle parked at the Disney Resorts Collection hotel where you're a registered Guest on your check-out day. You will be charged an overnight Self-Parking fee for each night of your reservation, and that begins on check-in day and ends on your check-out day. You will also receive complimentary Theme Park Parking for each day of your stay, so you could also park at the theme park you're visiting for free on your check-out day. Please see the Walt Disney World Resort Parking webpage for all the details.

As you count down to your visit, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and planning tips so you can plan a vacation that is practically perfect in every way. The World's Most Magical Celebration is underway, celebrating 50 years of magic at the Walt Disney World Resort, and there are many entertainment, merchandise, and snack options available throughout the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Please come back and see us here if you have any further questions as you plan and dream.

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
