Hi there, Kristina. Welcome to
planDisney!
Kristina, the answer to your question depends on where you'll be staying. If you are staying in a cabin at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and you arrive with your camper you will be allowed to park your camper in an overflow lot on property at that resort. If you are staying at a different Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, they might actually be able to accommodate your camper there as well. If you are indeed staying at another resort you'll simply need to head to the front desk to chit-chat with them about where to park your camper for your stay. Sometimes if there is space in a back lot at that particular resort hotel, you'll be directed to park there. If the parking lots are full or on the smaller side you might be directed to park at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that is nearby or even Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. No worries though because they will absolutely accommodate you, it's just subject to availability as to where.
If you do end up parking your camper at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, I hope you'll make it back to The Settlement area to pick up some dinner while you are there.
P & J's Southern Takeout is a favorite of mine at The Fort. They offer some family style meals with fried chicken and sides like mashed potatos and mac and cheese. Also, you've got to make sure you pick up a loaf of their cornbread too! So, so good! And what meal at the campground is complete without a little strawberry shortcake. You guessed it, they have that too! It's such a great meal that is affordable and delicious for the whole family.
Good luck on parking your camper, Kristina. I know you'll be able to find a spot with ease. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun!
