Welcome to planDisney, Danette!
Heading off to the parks on your arrival day is a great way to kick off your adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Once you arrive at your
Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel, stop by Bell Services. They will be happy to hold your luggage while you head off to enjoy your favorite attractions and experiences. I recently went to explore the parks before my hotel room was ready, and had this same question for Bell Services! Here is all you need to know about luggage and grocery holds, and the steps for having everything delivered to your room.
Bell Services cannot deliver packages, luggage, or groceries deliveries to your room unless you or another member of your travel party are present. Once you return from the parks you can stop by Bell Services to request that your items be brought to your room, or you can easily contact Bell Services from the phone in your room. This is my preferred option after a long day at the parks. Once you call Bell Services they will send everything over, and I found this to be a quick and easy process. Bell Services is available 24 hours a day, so there is no need to rush back at the end of the night. There is a
small fee for having your belongings or deliveries brought to your resort hotel room.
While we are on the topic of grocery delivery, there are a few notes to keep in mind. There is no charge from Bell Services to hold your order (only to bring it to your room), and groceries are stored at the appropriate temperatures. You typically do not need to be present for your delivery to be dropped off at your resort. However, should your order contain items that require age verification such as alcohol or certain medications, the provider may require you to be on-site with a photo ID for delivery. So be sure to check the policy of the service provider you choose to avoid any last-minute vacation stress.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
