Which is the least expensive WDW resort that sleeps 5?

    Welcome to planDisney Michele!

A party of 5 at Walt Disney World sounds like fun! There are plenty of options for all of you to stay in one room, so pick which works best for you.

Disney's All-Star Music Resort offers Family Suites at a value price. These rooms sleep 6, have a mini-fridge and microwave, a separate bedroom, and 2 full bathrooms. The suites offer a bit of space (520 square feet) to spread out and you just can't beat having that 2nd bathroom!

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are in the Moderate Resort Category. These resorts offer rooms with 2 queen beds and a pull-down sleeper for a 5th guest. To compare size to the Family Suite, these rooms are 314 square feet, and have just one bathroom. Not all rooms have that 5 sleeper, so make sure to book the correct room type.

If you watch for Special Offers, it is sometimes the cheapest to reserve 2 standard rooms at one of the All-Star Resorts. You can request connecting rooms (requests cannot be guaranteed).

To figure out your most economical option, Get Started on the booking page. Try a few options to see what the least expensive option will be. When you find a resort and room type that works, you can lock that in! During the booking, you can even add on your Theme Park Tickets.

Stop by planDisney again if you have any specific resort questions that might help in your decision making. Have fun planning your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
