when is the least expensive time of year to visit Disney world generally?

    Hello, Tim,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, if you can select a time when schools are in session, you'll likely find lower rates (and crowds!) at Disney resorts.  Typically, these are some good times to visit where you may find lower rates:

    -January/February (avoid holiday weekends)
-Mid-July to first part of September (avoid Labor Day weekend)
    -September following Labor Day Weekend
-Mid-October to the week before Thanksgiving

These are just general times, but there can be some events such as Run Disney races that may change some rates periodically. Because of this, I'd encourage you contact Walt Disney World at (407) 939-5277 to check specific rates. You can also explore different costs by looking over the Magic Your Way Packages online, and I'd also check out the Special Offers.

As you continue planning, please let us know how we can help further.  Wishing you a Delightfully Disney Day! -Kara
