Howdy, Tammi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
With distinctive entertainment, special events, and world class attractions, the Disneyland Resort remains a popular destination year-round. In general, weekdays tend to be less busy than weekends and you'll want to avoid any holidays that most folks have off from work and school. Summer, spring break, and the
Holidays tend to always see the most crowds, so visiting at so-called "off peak" times like late January and early February might be a good idea. Early September, before Halloween Time begins has also typically seen slightly less crowds.
My best suggestion is to find a time that works best for your family and your budget. Then follow a few simple park-touring strategies so you are certain to have an excellent time no matter the crowd levels. First, always to plan to be at the parks as early as possible and take advantage of any
early admission options you may have available to you. Next, use the Disney FASTPASS Service to skip most of the queue at select attractions. To save even more time, add the
Disney MaxPass option to your tickets to select FASTPASSES from anywhere in the parks on the Disneyland app. Finally,
make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance to secure your table for a relaxing meal ahead of time.
