I just learned of Star Wars Galaxy's edge. A google search suggested it was closed today (a Saturday early in May 2024). Where can I follow status, or make a reservation in 2024 or 2025 in California or Florida?

    Bright Suns Nancy,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a galactic experience that transports guests to a galaxy far far away! This area of the Disneyland Resort allows guests the chance to join the Resistance and help supply them through the following attractions - Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Guests can also test their skills as Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters through The Play Disney Parks App. And what is a Jedi without a lightsaber constructed at Savi’s Workshop or a personalized droid from Droid Depot?

Guests can visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when Disneyland Park is open. Certain attractions, restaurants, and experiences may be closed at times for refurbishment, but guests can see these closures ahead of time on the Hours & Events Calendar. Guests can also make advanced reservations for the experiences above and dining (such as the infamous Oga’s Cantina) up to sixty days before their visit date. However, guests only require a theme park ticket and park reservation to explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Tip from Tiffany: Did you know that the Disneyland Resort is currently celebrating the Star Wars Season of the Force? This celebration is unique to Disneyland and features themed merchandise, specialty food, Fire of the Rising Moons, and more! This celebration will depart from this planet on June 2, 2024, so book a reservation and visit us today!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
