I have learned so much reading the moms panel which is sure to make this Disney trip the best!!! I have a question - what are the rules about bringing food and snacks into Disney? If allowed what are the rules (how they are carried, limits... etc.) Thanks

Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Yay! I am thrilled you have found the tips and advice from my fellow Panelists super helpful! We are all passionate about planning not only our own Walt Disney World Resort vacations, but helping to plan Guests' vacations, too. I'm happy to answer your last-minute planning questions for your arrival in just a few days.

You can certainly bring food and beverages into the theme parks! This is a great way to save money, as well as keep tummies happy and everyone well hydrated. You will want to make sure that you avoid a few items though: no alcoholic beverages, no glass containers (except small ones like baby food jars) and no backpacks or coolers (with or without wheels) larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.

All bags and coolers must be taken through the bag check security lines, so I try to keep that in mind when I take food and drinks into the theme parks. It makes things a little quicker by using clear containers for food items (like clear sandwich bags for snack items) and I'm sure security appreciates that, too!

I hope this information helps you on your upcoming trip, Jennifer! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
