I just learned about Cruise Ducks, little plastic ducks people hide on ships for others to find. How does DCL feel about this game? I don’t want to bring them onboard if leaving ducks around is against the cleanliness standards or bothersome to the crew.

Ahoy there, Kelsey! Welcome aboard, and thanks so much for your question.

Disney Cruise Line has a pretty thorough list of prohibited items. As long as your cruising ducks don't violate any of the rules regarding prohibited items, there isn't a specific rule against hiding ducks on Disney Cruise ships

I do want to give a little advice about the ducks. They are absolutely adorable, and super fun to hide and find. Kids love to happen upon the cutie patootie little ducks. Keeping that in mind, I'd "hide" them in places where they are likely to be found. Making it a challenge to locate them might mean they aren't located during your sailing, and then when the ship is getting ready for the next group of sailors, they are going to be found and thrown away. That's kind of a sad ending for an adorable little duck.

Adults love to find the ducks also, so sneaking a couple into some of the nightclubs and lounges on your ship is a great idea. I'd avoid leaving them in the Youth Club areas though - you don't want little ones to be disappointed when there aren't enough ducks to go around.

I hope your time on your Disney Cruise ship is just ducky, Kelsey!
