Welcome to planDisney, Michael!
Oh, wow! A three family visit to
Walt Disney World will be three times the fun. So exciting!
As the one who is the lead planner in my family, I completely understand working through the next steps needed to ensure a trouble-free trip. Great thought!
The short answer to your question is absolutely! It's easy for everyone to manage their own families when touring plans are slightly different from each other. When guests are linked through Family & Friends in their
My Disney Experience account, they can all manage plans for anyone in the group. This means that while you have the ability to make plans for everyone, so do the other adults in your party. You may come and go together or separately--whichever way works for you. So convenient!
Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience app prior to arrival and explore all that it can do for you. When visiting, you'll always have the option to include particular members of your group or the entire party, making touring so flexible.
When we travel with extended family, we'll often spend part of the day in separate locations. One family might want to head to
Blizzard Beach Water Park while the rest of us want more time to explore
EPCOT. Not a problem. You can meet up at any time knowing that the grownups in the group can take care of the details for their own family.
That being said, there may be times when you'd like one person to make some plans for everyone. That can be done, too. For example, because you're linked as Family & Friends, one person can purchase
Lightning Lane passes for anyone in the group who has a valid ticket. I prefer to do this for our LL because I know everyone will get the same attractions with the same arrival windows. At any time, though, anyone in the group can make plans for just a smaller part of the group should they wish to do so.
Michael, as you plan your spectacular visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth together, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
