Hi Karen,
Walt Disney World is a fabulous place to spend Thanksgiving with your family, enjoying time together and kicking off the holiday season. It has become a tradition for my family.
The Thanksgiving menus for this year have not been announced yet, but we have found over the years that most restaurants add a Thanksgiving special to their regular menus or offer a special prix fixe menu for the holiday. For example, we ate at Artist Point a couple of years ago and found a prix fixe menu with five or six entrée items, including turkey and dressing. Each meal came with an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Because
Le Cellier does not normally offer a buffet, I wouldn't expect it to add one for the holiday. I believe it normally adds a daily special for Thanksgiving instead.
If you have not yet made your advance dining reservations for the holiday, I suggest you do so as soon as possible. Some of the most popular venues, such as Liberty Tree Tavern, book 180 days in advance.
If Le Cellier isn't available, don't despair. There are lots of good options in or near Epcot.
Biergarten at Epcot is very popular for the holiday, adding turkey to its normal German fare. So is
Rose and Crown in the United Kingdom, which offers a Thanksgiving special. Or maybe Coral Reef or Chefs de France?
The restaurants in the Epcot-area resorts -- Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Beach Club, the Swan and Dolphin -- also are a short walk from Epcot.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
