My in laws are Florida residents and would typically purchase my kids tickets. Is this also true for annual passes? If we were to do the Pixie Pass would my kids be able to enter without their grandparents on future visits?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sarah!

As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder myself, I will be the first to tell you that there is nothing like being able to access the magic of the theme parks for an entire year! I think it's super cool that your in-laws will be able to sprinkle a little of that pixie dust on your kiddos very soon.

As Florida residents, your in-laws can indeed purchase annual passes for your Mouseketeers under the age of 18 years old. As you know, the only available annual pass at the moment is the Disney Pixie Dust Pass. This pass can be used on many weekdays throughout the year (view blockout dates on this webpage).

Sarah, your in-laws must be present (with proof of residency) when activating your children's passes at the ticket windows or Guest Relations at one of the four theme parks or at Disney Springs in order to obtain the passes. So, good news: Your kiddos will be able to enter without their grandparents on future visits!

If you have any other questions as your most magical vacation nears, Sarah, feel free to revisit us here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
