Hi Lauren! I found out a dear friend hasn't visited WDW since Dreamfinder roamed Epcot. I decided we must fix this! What are your "must dos" for an adult (nearly) first time guest on a quick weekend trip to MK & Epcot? Thank you for the hel

Hi Lorelei!  Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask me your question!  I am truly honored.  What an amazing trip you are planning to reintroduce your dear friend to the magic of Walt Disney World.  I could go on forever with my list of favorites, but I will give you just a few ideas for each of the parks you mentioned.

The Magic Kingdom is a wonderful place to start your journey.  While walking down Main Street, U.S.A. you can't help but be filled with happiness and pixie-dust.  If your friend is a thrill seeker, I suggest a tour of the mountain rides: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and my favorite, Splash Mountain.  If they are not up for the mountain challenge, then stick with the classics: Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jungle Cruise to name a few.  For a quick meal, my personal favorite is the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.

At Epcot, I recommend first enjoying Future World.  Take a spin on Test Track, have some fun at The Seas with Nemo and Friends, blast off with Mission: SPACE, and don't forget Soarin'.  While in the Land Pavilion, I suggest enjoying a trip on Living with the Land, grabbing lunch at Sunshine Seasons, and if you have time, schedule the one hour Behind the Seeds tour.  You will love it!

Finish off your wonderful weekend enjoying the World Showcase at Epcot.  Enjoy drinks and delights from around the world as you take in the wonders of the different cultures.  Then settle in by the water to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, which is truly more than just a fireworks show.

I hope that this gives you some great ideas in how to spend your quick weekend trip!  I am confident that your friend will fall in love with Disney all over again.  If there is anything else I can assist you with, please come back and let me know.

    Magical Wishes,
    Lauren
