Boo-to-You, Janet!
Welcome, Foolish Mortal, back to planDisney, and thanks for dropping in with your question about
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize at this festive fall celebration at
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm thrilled to hear that you'll get to join the Happy Haunts in the eerie excitement this year, Janet! Have you started planning your party costume yet!?
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events to take place at
Magic Kingdom Park. Witnessing the Headless Horseman charge down Main Street, U.S.A. on his spooky steed during Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade always takes my breath away! Last year,
event dates were released in late April and parties ran from mid-August through the end of October. While Madame Leota's crystal ball isn't completely clear on whether this popular party will return for 2023, if I were you, I'd keep a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog in the late spring for any announcements. (I'd also keep a close eye on that bride in the attic at the
Haunted Mansion... She looks a little suspicious!)
Janet, while you wait for event dates to be released, I encourage you to check out some of the planDisney panelists'
top tips for experiencing Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Also, last year, discounted rates for this special event were extended to Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, so I recommend ensuring any applicable memberships are linked to your
My Disney Experience account ahead of time to take advantage of some spellbinding savings if offered again! Janet, as someone with a sweet tooth, one of my favorite parts of this experience is the ability to Trick-or-Treat inside Magic Kingdom Park. While this special event is crazy fun for candy lovers like myself, it's important to note that
allergy-friendly treat options are available as well!
I'm wishing you a seriously spooktacular experience at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, Janet! If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to stop back by anytime - we've been
dying to have you...
Hurry back,
Lauren
