    Hi Lauren! I'm hoping to be planning for a disneymoon for 2016 in May. I discovered the disney honeymoon website. My boyfriend and I looked at it and like the idea. We are wondering how we book our trip through disney world if we use the honeymoon website?

    It was so sweet of Sarah L. to send you my way. We did indeed spend our happy honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort and loved it. Disneymoons are a truly magical way to begin your happily ever after together.

    Disney's Honeymoon Registry has changed just a bit since we used it, but the idea is still the same. Instead of asking for cash, you can ask for activities and experiences during your Fairy Tale trip and guests are able to donate towards the selection of their choosing. You get to pick the options to make your vacation perfect, while friends and family are able to send you to dinner, buy your tickets, or any other item you have chosen. Although guests select which experience they are donating towards, your registry acts like one big bank account. You may either request your funds as gifts are given or shortly before your trip. We chose to plan and book our Honeymoon early, using our own funds and then added experiences or "paid ourselves back" as gifts were received. Vacation packages will become available a little later this year for 2016 and I suggest booking at least the basics then. You can always add upgrades as the date gets closer and full payment isn't usually due until 45 days before your arrival.
