    Hi Laura, We are taking the kids for their first Disney (surprise) visit and have tickets for the Halloween parade. What time and where would we want to be at 7:00 when the event starts? I'm trying to plan dinner prior to that. Thanks so much.

    Thank you so much for the question!  I think it is such a wonderful surprise to take your kids to Walt Disney World, and for me, the hardest part would be keeping it a secret!  You will just love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  It is one of my family's favorite special events.  The party begins at 7:00 pm and ends at Midnight.  They will let you in the Magic Kingdom usually around 6:30 pm to get your special wristbands and Trick-or-Treat bags.  Be sure to pick up a special Times Guide and map when you enter.  This will tell you where all the Trick-or-Treat stations are throughout the park and character greetings.  The Boo to You Parade is not to be missed.  This begins in Frontierland at 8:15 or 10:30 pm although the second parade is much less crowded.  At 9:30 pm, Happy HalloWishes Fireworks light up the sky.  These fireworks are just spectacular, Lisa!  There are also Halloween Dance Parties in Tomorrowland with Stitch, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip 'n Dale or in Liberty Square with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye.  This year in front of Cinderella's Castle, classic Disney villains perform a Halloween show and will be available for a meet and greet after the show.  The times for this are 7:45, 8:50, 10:05, and 11:15 pm.  Finally, there are Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best throughout the Magic Kingdom for Meet and Greets until around 11:30 pm.  I know your vacation will be just MAGICAL!  Please let me know if I can help you further, Lisa.
