Is there laundry service on board the Disney Dream? if so, would you know the fee? thanks!

    Hi, Susan!

On the Disney Wonder last week, we were running out of...uh, "unmentionables"...when I started to investigate my laundry options.  It's the same on the Disney Dream -- so let me tell you what I found out:

    • There is Laundry Service, and there are various prices for the more than 20 listed items. The prices are different for laundering vs. dry cleaning and for pressing only. Yet, to give you an idea, 2-piece suits are $7 and shirts are $3.50. To launder, pants are $3.50, shirts are $3 and "unmentionables" are $1.25 each. The pressing only service is half of what dry cleaning costs for each item, and there is a 50% up-charge for same-day service and 100% up-charge for items you want returned in less than 3 hours.
    • Then, there are launderettes located on certain decks of the ship. It costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry with laundry detergent available in a vending machine for $1 each. You use your stateroom key to swipe and start the machines (or buy supplies), and you can usually count on going through two cycles for the dryer.
    • The last option I suggest is bringing your own laundry detergent and washing essentials out in the bathtub. There's a retractable clothesline across the shower/tub -- which helps to drip dry then you can finish it up with one cycle in the dryer if needed.
I hope that helps give you an idea of the laundry situation on board. Let me know if I can help you further. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
