Walt Disney World for a well-deserved vacation. Let's chat about some of the amenities available for
Disney Vacation Club Members so you know what to expect.
I'm so glad you'll get to experience Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows on your September trip! The Polynesian is my family's DVC Home Resort, and it's always my favorite place to stay whenever we visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. Although I haven't stayed at Island Tower yet, I've had the opportunity to visit the resort and dine at
Wailulu Bar & Grill. The public spaces and the DVC studios and villas are simply gorgeous, and I know you're going to love your stay there!
As for laundry, I'm happy to report that there are facilities available for Guests staying in the Tower. You'll find them off the main lobby, with washing machines, dryers, and a vending machine with detergent. I usually bring a few detergent pods with me in a hard-sided plastic container so I have my preferred type! There's even a television so you can entertain yourself while waiting for a load to finish up.
With all of your laundry taken care of, you can turn your attention to all of the fun
Fall happenings going on around Walt Disney World. From your convenient location at the Poly, you'll be close to
Magic Kingdom Park to spend a spooky evening at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You can also walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the Monorail to
EPCOT to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It's one of my favorite seasons to visit - the crowds are usually a little lighter, and the temperatures cool off in the evenings. Be sure to check out the
Member Benefits section of the DVC website for any special offers or discounts that you might be able to enjoy during your visit!
