    Are there laundry facilities available at the Wilderness Lodge? Would like to pack lite.

    Hi Alecia!

    Although we never want to spend our precious vacation time doing laundry sometimes it is simply necessary.

    The Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World is a favorite resort among many of the panelists. The ambience and decor is so relaxing and a perfect place to call home after busy days in the parks. This resort, as well as all of the Disney resorts, will offer Laundry Services for their guests.

    The Wilderness Lodge laundry room is located on the first floor and any cast member will be happy to guide you to it. The machines are now using the Laundry View system where you can see if there are available machines before you head down there. There are small boxes of detergents and softeners available to purchase so you do not have to bring your own.

    If you don't have time to do it yourself each resort will offer the valet laundry and/or dry cleaning service for the guests. You simply fill your laundry bag found in the closet and fill out the slip and call the housekeeping number for pick up in your room. You do not have to be present for them to pick it up so you can head out to the parks without a worry. Usually if you get laundry in before 8:30am you will get it returned by 6pm that same day. I have used this service all the time when staying at Fort Wilderness during my vacations.

    You will definitely have choices when the need for clean clothes arises at Walt Disney World!
