Ahoy there, Michelle! Hope you're having a great time putting the finishing touches on your cruise planning! Looks like in just a few weeks, you'll be taking in all the excitement of
Disney Castaway Cay - and it sounds like some
adult-exclusive activities are on the itinerary as well! Consider me 99-percent happy for you and only 1-percent jealous...(ok, more like 50/50).
I sailed on over to check with a crew member about your question since my family hasn't cruised since Scuttle's Cove reopened! The word straight from the screwball seagull himself is that he closes up shop at 4 p.m. each day. I'd suggest getting there a bit before - probably around 3:45 p.m. - to beat the rush back to board the ship! Hopefully your onboard activity wraps-up with plenty of time to spare, and you can make it back topside to watch the ship sail away from Disney Castaway Cay.
While sailing away is always bittersweet, it's one of my favorite "leavings" because I know it's just a matter of time until we return - you can't have an incredible day at Castaway Cay and not want another soon after! Between the great food at Cookies BBQ and Cookies Too, the (currently self-starting) Castaway Cay 5K, the adults-only paradise that is Serenity Bay, and so much more, no matter how many times I return it's always a favorite!
Oh, and if you haven't already - be sure you have your
Online Check-In done at least a day before your sail date - this will ensure you've got everything squared away to make Embarkation Day smooth sailing!
I hope you have an incredible time on your Disney Cruise Line Vacation, Michelle! Thank you so much for your question! If any others bubble to the surface as you approach the coast, please send a message our way here at planDisney! Ooh, maybe Scuttle himself would like to carry it for you...though I'm not sure how reliable that would be...on second thought, dropping me a line here is probably your best bet.
You've got no troubles, life is the bubbles!
