What is the latest time to arrive at MCO for a disney cruise where you have to be onboard by 3:45? Also what is the earliest flight you can leave?

    Welcome to planDisney Laura!

Planning for a Disney Cruise is a lot of fun with choosing staterooms, Port Adventures, onboard activities, and more! Getting your transportation figured out is a pretty important step in that planning process for sure!

Per the Disney Cruise Line website:
For the Port Canaveral to Port Canaveral sailings, we recommend the following flight-time guidelines:
Latest arrival time to Orlando International Airport on Embarkation Day: 1:45 PM
Earliest departure time from Orlando International Airport on Debarkation Day: 11:25 AM

While this is the recommendation, I really encourage you to get the earliest flight out on your embarkation day, or even fly in the night before. Having a cushion of time is always a good thing in the event of weather or flight delays.

As far as what time to fly home, I have found their recommendation of 11:25am allows plenty of time. I usually fly out of MCO between 11:30am-noon without a problem.

When arriving at Orlando International Airport, you may arrange for your own transportation or secure ground transportation through Disney Cruise. Currently, the cost is $39 per passenger each way, prices subject to change. Give a call to Disney Cruise if you would like to add on ground transportation.

Wishing you safe travels as you head to Port Canaveral to board your beautiful Disney Cruise ship!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
