What is the latest you can take someone off your reservation and still receive a refund for that person?

    Hi Pamela,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Glad to know that in a couple of months you will have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. At the same time, sad to hear someone may not be able to join you.

When you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you can make changes or even cancel it up to 30 days before arrival. This is the time when your full payment is due. Changes are possible later but will result in a change fee. Be sure to talk to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your Travel Agent. Note that some things are non-refundable such as travel insurance or airfare.

If on the other hand, you made a room-only reservation, you have more time. Changes can be made without penalties up to five days from arrival. Sometimes you can book a reservation via internet travel sites. They may have their own cancellation terms, so be sure to consult with them. Finally, note that any Theme Park Tickets purchased in advanced are non-refundable.

One last tip: do not forget to adjust your dining reservations. The My Disney Experience mobile app makes this process quick and easy. Happy planning!
