Ahoy there, Steve, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're hoping to savor every last moment of magic before stepping back on shore, so I'm happy to help you with this question.
Debarkation morning can feel bittersweet, but knowing what to expect makes it much smoother. While times can vary slightly depending on your port of arrival and Customs clearance, Guests are generally asked to vacate their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. That doesn’t mean you have to rush off right away, though!
If you were assigned to the early dinner seating, your farewell breakfast will typically begin around 6:45 a.m. in the same dining room you enjoyed the night before. Those with the later seating will follow at 8:00 a.m. If you prefer something more casual, you’re also welcome to grab a final bite at the ship’s buffet-style restaurant before heading ashore. (And don't forget to grab a final Mickey waffle before you go!)
All Guests are usually asked to disembark by about 9:30 a.m., giving Disney Cruise Line’s incredible Cast Members time to prepare the ship for the next lucky voyagers. Just remember that complimentary room service isn’t available on debarkation day, and that you’ll want to place your checked luggage outside your stateroom by 10 p.m. the night before. Remember to pay attention to the Disney Character on your
luggage tags, then listen for that character to be announced so you know when it’s your turn to disembark.
I’m wishing you smooth seas and sumptuous sweets on your upcoming cruise. And if you think of any other way we can help before you set sail, we’ll be right here waiting at
planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
