Hi there, Santos!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation awaiting you later this summer! My boys keep asking when we can sail on the Disney Fantasy again because they love “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” so much!
For your specific voyage, the “All Aboard” time for embarkation day is 3:45pm, but I would recommend being at Port Canaveral by 2 or 2:30PM at the latest.
Port Canaveral is approximately a one-hour drive from Orlando, so also keep that in mind when making plans for embarkation day. While I certainly love visiting the theme parks, my honest recommendation would be to take the morning off from the theme parks and prepare for your time at sea! The last thing you want to do is be rushed and feel like you’ve forgotten something or feel panicked to get to the Cruise Terminal for your week at sea. Plus, once you set foot onboard the Disney Fantasy, the entertainment and activities start! There are ship tours, Open House hours in the Youth Clubs, Senses Spa Open House and swimming to be done! Not to mention, if you put your swimming suits in your carry-on luggage you can take your first ride down the
AquaDuck!
If you have booked ground transfers through Disney Cruise Line to take you to Port Canaveral, you will receive information the night before at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel with the time that they need you to meet for your transfer. If you are arranging private transfers, I recommend booking with a company that offers set rates to and from Port Canaveral.
Wishing you a FANTAStic adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
