How late are the shops at the resorts open? I plan on visiting epcot after I check in but wanted to get a few breakfast things after we get back to our rooms that night

    Hi, Michele!

    This is a great question!

While Epcot often closes at 9 p.m., I'd hate to tell you that your resort shops will be open when you return, especially if you're there on an Extra Magic Hours night, or if your return is delayed.

I suggest that, once you check in, you visit that resort shop and purchase your breakfast items for the next morning at that time.  You can store this additional bag with your luggage if your room isn't ready yet; they even have refrigerated storage for you, if you have milk, butter, etc., in that bag.  Then, when you return from Epcot and get your bags, your breakfast items are safely with you.

Of course, if your room is ready for you upon check-in, you can simply purchase these items before you ask bell services to bring your bags up.  This way, you can drop off all of your baggage before a great day at Epcot.

(In my experience, by the way, many resort shops close somewhere around 11 p.m. / 11:30 p.m.)
