We have late morning breakfast reservations (10:15) at Cape May Cafe. We will be at Epcot that morning (EMH). Could we walk from Epcot to Cape May? World Showcase isn't open till 11 so I wasn't sure if we could exit through there or not. Thank you!

Hey there, Christopher! Thanks for hopping on over to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Epcot's "backdoor" at the International Gateway makes it so convenient to walk over to Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, take a stroll on Disney's BoardWalk, or even catch a boat to drop in on Disney's Hollywood Studios.

In my experience, the International Gateway is open when the park opens, even though World Showcase opens later. The only restriction I've ever seen is a rope blocking the footbridge over to the France pavilion, and the path to the International Gateway is before you reach the bridge. You should absolutely be able to exit Epcot and walk right over to your fun-filled breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

I hope you have a magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation, Christopher, and please stop by again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
