    I was too late in making reservations in advance for Charactor Dining for our trip next month (I'm very bummed to miss this opportunity). What are tips to get in? Call everyday or wait until within 24 hours for cancellations? What are your tips?

    Hi Mary!

    I can understand your disappointment.  I recommend trying every day, first thing in the morning.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE, but I think it's easier just to check online.  Definitely check 45 days out before the day you want to dine, because that's when a lot of reservations get canceled due to the 45 day cancellation policy on vacation packages!
