I have to say that celebrating the New Year at Disney World is truly next-level awesomeness! From special entertainment to festive countdown moments, it feels like the whole park is throwing a giant, family-friendly celebration just for you. There’s something so special about ringing in a brand-new year while surrounded by fireworks, music, and that unmistakable Disney pixie dust!
Now, when it comes to quick-service restaurants like
Columbia Harbor House on December 30th and 31st, I checked in with a Cast Member to get the scoop. She shared that Columbia Harbor House will close at 10:00 PM on both nights, even though
Magic Kingdom is open much later. But the good news is that most other Quick-Service spots around the park stay open past 10:00 PM to keep all those hungry late-night parkgoers fueled for the festivities. Places like
Casey’s Corner,
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, or
Main Street Bakery should have extended hours on super-busy holiday nights.
It’s always a good idea to check the
My Disney Experience app on the morning of your visit, as Disney occasionally adjusts hours as crowds grow throughout the day. If you’re planning a late dinner or midnight snack, keep in mind that lines can get long, but the atmosphere is half the fun! This is also the perfect time to take advantage of
Mobile Ordering, allowing you to save time and spend more of your evening enjoying the fun instead of waiting in line. Magic Kingdom will stay lively deep into the night, so grabbing something quick and delicious is absolutely doable. Just follow the flow of hungry night owls, and you’ll always find something open.
