How late are Disney resort pools open at night?

Hello there LeeAnne and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s so nice to hEAR from you today and I’m so excited to share with you some of my favorite resort pools to visit.

The first is, The Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Did you know that this pool is the largest resort pool located at the Walt Disney World Resort? It’s the perfect place to “Just Keep Swimming” at! I also enjoy the Lava Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The towering volcano and nearby lounge and bar are also an added bonus. A refreshing frozen DOLE Whip® from Pineapple Lanai is all I need when lounging around the pool.

You will be thrilled to know that on average, pools at most Disney Resort Hotels are open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. I recommend checking with the front desk once you check in for exact pool hours, since the hours may vary, depending on the time you are visiting. If a dip in the pool is a must for your family I also recommend scheduling a “pool day” during your stay. When we visit, my family usually plans a day in the middle of our trip where we reserve a Character meal and lounge around our resort’s pool. It’s the perfect break from the parks but includes just enough Pixie Dusted Magic that makes us feel like we’ve never left.

I hope this helps when deciding which resort pool you wish to enjoy! Please visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need help finding just the right resort for you and your family. We are always excited to help you plan and enjoy a Magical visit.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
