Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jana!
Before you know it, your Disney Cruise Line vacation will be here, and you’ll be headed for some fun in the sun! As you are preparing for your voyage, be sure to download the
Navigator app before embarkation so that you’ll have access to schedules, deck plans, menus and so much more.
I love the
rotational dining system that Disney Cruise Line uses because it makes your dinner decisions so easy for you because you know exactly where to go and when to be there! But, with that, its also good to know that you don’t have to attend your seated dinner each night. If you choose not to dine one night in the main dining room you can choose to eat at Cabanas for a seated dinner, quick serve by the pools or even in your stateroom with Room Service! You can always attend the earlier (or later) show if you are not planning on dining at your specified dining time with no problem whatsoever. Since my boys are little and we often cannot make it through a late show, we will skip our dinner service and catch the early show. If we know we aren’t going to be at a dinner service, we like to let our dining room servers know not to expect us out of courtesy, but it is not necessary to do so.
Another thing to consider is that once you get onboard you can inquire at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique about changing your Pirate League makeover time, if that is something you are interested in doing. They may have some earlier time slots available – and from experience, we like to do our makeovers earlier in the day so that my boys can enjoy their new look for longer!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
