Hi Julie!
I’m so excited to hear you’ll be staying at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort! You’re in for a treat at this fun themed Value Resort, where each section is a nostalgic dive into pop culture, with larger-than-life decorations from the 1950s through the 1990s. Not only are the grounds vibrant and playful, but you’ll also find activities for all ages, from poolside games to Movies Under the Stars each evening. And let’s not forget the
Disney Skyliner this is my favorite mode of transportation that will have you taking flight from Disney’s Pop Century to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and other nearby resorts!
As for late checkout, it’s a possibility, but not a guarantee. The check-out time is 11:00 a.m., and you can request a later time by contacting the front desk the night before or the morning of your departure. Whether it’s available depends on factors like occupancy and room turnover needs. If late checkout isn’t an option, consider storing your luggage with Bell Services while you enjoy your remaining time.
For international flights, keep in mind that Disney suggests arriving at Orlando International Airport about 3 hours before departure to allow plenty of time for security and customs.
One last suggestion: if you find yourself with some extra time, hop on the Skyliner to Disney’s Riviera Resort and treat yourself to a quiet break at
Le Petit Café. Their selection of coffee, tea, and pastries will give you a nice relaxing way to unwind before you need to head to the airport.
Wishing you a fantastic stay at Pop Century!
