How late does the boat from the Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge run? We have a dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's and I want to be sure we'll be able to get back to the Wilderness lodge via boat afterwards. Thank you!

Hey Howdy Hey Caitlin and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a spectacular resort. The grounds are amazing and I love just spending some time in the lobby, especially if you can snag a seat by the Springs! Don't even get me started on how amazing Disney's Contemporary Resort and Chef Mickey's are! One of the great perks about Magic Kingdom Resorts is the transportation options. The boat to and from the Contemporary is such a nice and relaxing ride, such a great benefit to staying so close to the Magic. But let's talk about run times for Resort Transporation.

Resort Transporation starts operating 45 minutes before theme parks open and usually runs about an hour after theme park closing times. This includes the Water Transportation around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon for the resorts around Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps with planning your meal at Chef Mickey's and I hope you have a fantastic time on your trip coming up in April. If you can, I would also make sure to find time to check out the Electrical Water Pageant. This show is available to see from either the Contemporary Resort or the Wilderness Lodge and is a nice little cap to a relaxing day enjoying all that the resorts have to offer.

Have fun planning the rest of your trip and if you have any other questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy planning,
