    We are going in late August, we are on the free diner plan. We were thinking about booking the Rose & Crown Pub. We understand you can watch the fireworks from here. What time should be book our dinner and do you have any tips or other places to eat

    Hi Laura,

    Yes, the Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room does have a patio that serves as a lovely location from which you can view the Illuminations fireworks, water, and laser spectacular.  If you look at the August calendar for Epcot here, you will see that Illuminations typically shows at 9:00 pm.  Therefore, I would book a dining reservation at the Rose & Crown at 8:00 pm.  Then you can enjoy their delicious regional food at a leisurely pace before watching Illuminations.  Just be sure to ask the host or hostess when you are seated for a table with a water view. 

    My other favorite restaurants in Epcot include:  Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion, Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion, and San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion.  Each of these restaurants is a table service restaurant so you should call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations soon if you wish to dine at any of these enchanting eating establishments.
