How late can you arrive for check in at Fort Wilderness?

    Hey there, James!

Welcome to planDisney! You chose an amazing resort to call your home away from home during your magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Both the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and the Campsite options offer gorgeous woodland views that create the perfect setting for relaxation and recreation. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offers so many amazing recreation options for you to enjoy during your stay. You can enjoy canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, and even Movies Under the Stars. Be sure to set aside some time to enjoy all this resort has to offer during your upcoming adventure. But before you can start enjoying all the fabulous features of the resort, you have to check in of course. Here's all you need to know about checking in at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels can check in online in advance through the Walt Disney World website as well as on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Online check-in is a great way to enjoy Direct-to-Room Service. I highly recommend this option as you won't need to wait in line at the front desk, and you can arrive on your own schedule. When your accommodations are ready you will receive a push notification to your smart device via My Disney Experience. You can bypass the front desk and head straight to your cabin or campsite after you arrive. This allows you to arrive at any time, though it should be noted that check-in begins at 3 PM ET. So, if you are early, rather than late, your spot may not be ready just yet. Now if you are arriving in the evening or even very late, you can head straight to your site with ease. And if you do not receive that push notification with the details about your stay, you will be able to find this information in the Resort Hotel section of the My Disney Experience app.

Should online check-in not be your preferred option and you wish to check-in in person, there will be a friendly Cast Member at the front desk 24 hours a day. So you are able to check-in anytime! Just head to the front desk to receive the details about your upcoming stay.

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
