what is there to do late afternoon and evenings at (or near by)the Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Luciano,

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort in the whole world!  Not only is it a gorgeous place to stay, but there is so much to do at or near the resort.  Here are a few of my favorite activities there:

    1.  Depending on the time of year, spending an afternoon swimming in Silver Creek Springs Creek Pool is a lovely way to spend a few hours.  Enjoy snacks from Roaring Fork or a delightful beverage from Trout Pass Pool Bar between laps around the pool.

    2.  Rent a bicycle at Teton Boat and Bike Rentals and take the secluded path over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  You could easily spend an afternoon exploring the campground and its rustic amenities by bike.

    3.  Schedule the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure and learn how to ride a Segway personal transporter.  Call (407) WDW-TOUR to book this exciting experience.

    4.  In the evening, head out to the beach at Disney's Wilderness Lodge to watch the Electrical Water Pageant.

    5.  Take a boat over to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  There you can board the monorail and take a full circuit tour of the other resorts in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.

Luciano, I could go on and on with suggestions.  If there's anything else you'd like to know about Disney's Wilderness Lodge, feel free to post a follow-up question.  My friends here at the Moms Panel and I would love to help.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
