For the last 6 years we have been annual pasholders 2011 have expired, next trip will be in Dec, 2012 for a big Celebration. Would it be two early to order one ticke now, so we can see all the discounts in time for our trip?

    Hello Mitzi!

I LOVE Big Celebrations!  And Walt Disney World is the BEST place to celebrate BIG!

OK...I talked to a Cast Member about your question, and this is what I found out.  You do not have to purchase an Annual Pass at this time for your December Walt Disney World Trip.  She said you can go ahead and book your Walt Disney World reservation now by telling the Cast Member you are an Annual Passholder.  The Cast Member will then give you the Annual Passholder discounted rate.  If there is an additional discount offered after you book your reservation, just call 407-W-DISNEY, and they will credit your reservation.

Now, you will have to show your new and activated Annual Pass to the front desk when you check-in to your Disney Resort.  You can either order your Annual Pass online and have them delivered to your home or pick them up at any Disney Park Ticket Window.  Before you check-in at your Disney Resort, you will need to go to either Downtown Disney or to any of the Disney Parks and activate your Annual Passes at Guest services.

So, you can purchase your Annual Passes now or later.  The bottom line is that you will need an activated Annual Pass to take advantage of any discounts offered.

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
