last year and the year to come my daughter turned 10 years old and we had to pay the adult prices for food she would not eat and they would not give us a kids meal (alittle bit bigger portion) and we do not want to eat all buffet. Please help.

    Hi Pamela,

I'm surprised to hear that you were not able to find a dining solution that worked for your daughter last year.  Normally, the Cast Members who staff Disney's incredible restaurants are very accommodating with dining requests.   Perhaps the rules of your Dining Plan (if you used one) did not permit them to substitute a child's meal for an adult table service credit.  If that was the case, I would simply ask to speak to the restaurant's manager to see what compromise might be reached.

It sounds as if it might make sense to simply pay out-of-pocket for your daughter's meals if she prefers a selection from the kids' menu.  Then you could use her leftover dining credits to pay for your meals at a signature restaurant (since these meals require two per person).  Another good option might be to forgo the Disney Dining Plan entirely if you feel that would afford you more flexibility.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
