Last year when I was in WDW I had to get a card similar to a GAC for my service animal it was not a GAC. With the new system do I still need to do this or get a DAS Regards

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Danny ~

Things have changed a lot at Disney over the past few months so I contacted Disability Services for you regarding your question. The Cast Member I spoke with said you should go to Guest Relations once you arrive at a theme park. She said they will give you everything that you will need to visit the parks with your service animal and will be more than happy to assist you. Be sure to read the updated service animal page on the website before your trip.

In case they give you a Disability Access Service Card (DAS), here are some details explaining how to obtain a DAS and how it works in the parks. You can also find some additional information in this list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.

Please feel free to visit us with any other questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
