    Last year when I ran in a race we did our reservations for tickets and resorts through the Disney site now it looks like we have to go through one of the travel agencies they list. Is that the only way to get the special race discounts?

    Hi Diane!

    You are right that some race weekends offer runner discounts to participants.  The way for runners to get those discounts on their packages is by booking through 407-WDW-IRUN, or by clicking on the link provided on the Travel Pages of the runDisney website for the particular race weekend.

    Some race weekends don't offer runner discounts.  I like to watch the Disney World Special Offers page to see if a good deal or offer comes along that is valid during race weekends.  Sometimes, those prices are even better than the runner's discount price.

    No matter which way you book, all participants that stay at a host resort will have access to the convenient transportation provided to and from all race weekend events.
