Hello, Brooke! Thank you for visiting planDisney before your next Disney Cruise.
I'm a big fan of the
Unlimited Digital Photo Package because it lets me step away from the camera and be in the pictures, too. We always return home with a treasure trove of stunning shots. As you're aware, photographers are stationed in various spots like the atrium, dining rooms, upper decks, and even at Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay.
On my last sailing aboard the Disney Dream this past November, I noticed that the photo events can be categorized into five distinct types: Lifestyle Portraits, typically set against a white or neutral backdrop; Photo Moments, featuring fun props like the Disney Cruise Line float ring or Cinderella's glass slipper; Portraits with Scenic Backdrops, highlighting the various locations you're visiting or the ship itself; and Magic Shots. We've had Chip and Dale and Tinker Bell magically appear in the palm of our hands.
Be sure to consult the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you're aboard to stay informed about all the photo opportunities available. I'm sure some of your favorites will still be there, but I hope you discover a few new ones as well. Whether you're seeking a timeless family portrait in your formal attire on Sunday or aiming to document your
pirate-themed attire on Tuesday, the app will keep you updated on when and where to find these photo sessions.
Wishing you a vacation filled with picture-perfect moments and memories that will last a lifetime! Please feel free to sail by planDisney again if you have more questions.
SEAS the adventure!
